2019 TRI-HENLEY OPEN WATER TRIATHLON

The inaugural Tri-Henley Open Water Triathlon took place in the superb grounds of Shiplake College, on the banks of the River Thames, on Sunday 3 June 2018. Open to junior triathletes aged from seven to 16, and a key event in the South Central Super Series, this proved to be a MUST-ENTER event in the 2018 calendar.

We are very appreciative of the positive feedback we received from parents whose children entered the event.

i just wanted to email to thank you for putting on such an absolutely fantastic event for our triathlon kids. It's so wonderful that people go to the effort of putting on these events for our kids to enjoy and to see how their hard work training has paid off.

We thought the venue was wonderful and organisation was first class. All the communications were clear and we thought everyone orgnaising on the day did so well. Clearly you had to change plans at the last minute with wet areas but this did not show. What a beautiful day.

Please, please do it again next you. You were fabulous!

The tri at Shiplake was fabulous. We had such a good time as a family. It was a great experience for my son's first open water swim. Much learning took place and the medal was very much appreciated at the end of the race.

We all had a great day at the triathlon as did everyone I spoke to, it all seemed really well organised and it was good to see the results were available without problems.

Well! One would never know that this was your very first event! It was fantastic. Some very nice touches, like the Free Massage from the Athlete Services and the food was to die for. Very, very reasonably priced also.

Right from the start, your professionalism showed in the Athletes Pack, Car Parking, Directions, Registration, Course Layout, Facilities and Results. It was a pleasure to see. A big thank you to your Team. They worked hard to make it happen. Really looking forward to next year’s now.
